Thinktank 2025: Exchange, perspectives, and new impulses

Three days filled with in-depth discussions, honest exchanges, and inspiring encounters: this year’s TOP CONSULTANT Thinktank 2025 was once again an exceptional experience for ProGemma. Together with leading figures from the consulting industry, our Managing Director, Dipl.-Ing. Martin F. Schmidt, engaged in discussions on key future-oriented topics – from the role of consultancy in times of change to the demands of responsible and sustainable action. The confidential and open atmosphere enabled genuine dialogue on an equal footing.

A particular highlight was the moderation by Christian Wulff, former Federal President of Germany, who enriched the event with personal insights, current perspectives, and thought-provoking ideas. His contributions added both depth and relevance to the discussions.

The programme was further enhanced by remarkable guest speakers: former astronaut Thomas Reiter offered fascinating insights into his long-term missions on space stations Mir and the ISS, highlighting how significantly our society benefits from space exploration – often without realising it.

Equally impressive was the talk by Michael Messner, multiple Top Consultant award-winner, who shared reflections from his six-month sabbatical. His journey through Africa – in a self-converted expedition vehicle – was not only a geographical adventure but, above all, a deeply personal one. His experiences encouraged reflection on both professional and personal paths, and the importance of realigning them from time to time.

What made the Thinktank truly special was the combination of professional depth, personal stories, and an open, appreciative atmosphere. We’re taking away a wealth of ideas – for our work at ProGemma, for our clients, and for our own development.
