Expertise development in companies – Is knowledge power?
The English philosopher Francis Bacon (1561-1626) once emphasized the importance for humanity of being inquisitive and open to new things and innovations, as well as having the willingness to continue learning.
Particularly in times of ongoing, far-reaching change processes in the economy and society as a result of digital transformation, companies must respond and act proactively in order to help shape the new circumstances. The necessary redesign of organisational structures within a company also requires a new culture in dealing with employees.
Is a separate academy needed here as a nucleus for skills development?
